Dear Lions,

Hotel Villa Sassi (website: www.villasassi.com) is in Turin (Torino,
Northern Italy). Its exact address is Strada al Traforo di Pino, 47 -
TORINO, and you could call it at Tel. 0118980556-7 / Fax 0118980095,
or email the hotel at info@villasassi.com.

The four stars hotel is "one of Italy’s most famous ‘Hotels de
charme’." (Source: Torino Convention Bureau,
http://www.torinoconvention.it/Eng/informati/soci/alberghi/scheda_alberghi.asp?id_albergo=22).
It used to be a residence of the Savoy’s, and is described as a
"charming early 17th Century residence designed to satisfy the most
sophisticated requests of the aristocrat on holiday, has kept secret
the memories of all the different periods that it has passed through."
(ibid.). It has 16 rooms, which are highly equipped, and a recommended
bar and restaurant (you could find more information about the hotel at
www.torinoconvention.it/Eng/informati/soci/
alberghi/scheda_alberghi.asp?id_albergo=22).

About the hotel restaurant, "El Toula", a guide says that "Set in the
hills that surround the city of Turin, the Villa Sassi is an
historical place—and not all history is pleasant—but, after some years
of crisis, this villa, is, once again, a good place to visit. The
foods are, for the most part, traditional, and good: antipasti,
agnolottini with Castelmagno cheese or lamb with herbs, but the
kitchen branches out into the more creative realms with offerings like
storion with orange and ginger. The wine list meets the demands of the
menu—is sufficient, but not extensive." (Source: Concierge.com
http://www.concierge.com/turin/restaurants/detail/index.ssf?args=/base/wc_rest-43/101156784930945.xml).

I hope this answered your question. If you need any further
clarifications, please let me know. I'd be pleased to clarify my
question before you rate it.
