Hello Here's your translation: BIBLIOTECA GAMBALUNGHIANA Gambalunga Library INDICE ALFABETICO DEGLI SPOGLI Alphabetical index of catalog entries Sc-Ms.190 Sec. XIX Writings and Manuscripts 190 - 19th. century Discendenza Tonti Tonti descent [genealogy] Sta in: Paulucci, Domenico: Memorie miscellanee di famiglie... (cc.97-115) [It is] in: Miscellaneous Family Memoirs, by Domenico Paulucci.. (papers 97-115) Sc-Ms.803 1614 Writings and Manuscripts 803 - 1614 Donazione del Sig. Cardinale [Michelangelo] Tonti alli parenti... Gift of Cardinal Tonti to his parents Sta in: [Scritti e documenti miscellanei] (cc. 25-52) [It is] in: Miscellaneous Writings and Documents (papers 25-52) I was pleased to answer this, since I have already got involved in the story of the Tonti family by answering some other questions about them, which I guess you know about. It's all very interesting. As well as using my knowledge of Italian, I checked over the Gambalunga library site to see how they use abbreviations: http://www.comune.rimini.it/cultura/biblioteca/gambalunga/mss1.htm Did you notice they have a diploma or degree certificate for a Michelangelo Tonti (seems like the wrong date for the Cardinal?) http://www.comune.rimini.it/cultura/biblioteca/gambalunga/mss2.htm I also checked on the word "spogli" by using a Google image search to confirm it means entries in an index or catalog: http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.pg.izs.it/immagini/lazzari_b2.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.pg.izs.it/corrente/webzine/lazzari.html&h=175&w=282&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dspogli%26start%3D20%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26sa%3DN Please be sure to ask if you want anything clarified.
