I had an accident with my van skidding and hitting a snow truck parked
on the side of the road as I was trying to come to a stop for a stop
sign on a downward sloping road. I was judged at approximately 50%+
fault by the insurance company and my SDIP increased by 4 points. Are
there any websites that contain accounts of people appealing the SDIP
surcharge, and it being waived for them? What are the causes that are
typically waived by the board?

I am aware of the process (within 30 days etc) and do not need
pointers to the rmv website containing that.
