Hello again, 211563-ga!
I had the pleasure of answering a question for you in the past. It is
nice to see you back!
What a financial loss you have suffered! I doubt the knowledge that
have a lot of company among others who have lost significant amounts
of money through corporate collapse, financial mismanagement, scam
artists and downright thievery is of much comfort!
It will be wonderful if you can find someone in the news media to
tell your story. However, I'm sure you know it will likely require a
lot of diligent work on your part to find the right organization or
individual to take an interest. If you are persistent, and contact as
many editors and journalists as you can with your story, you may have
some good success.
I have provided you with the "few" e-mail addresses I could find for
contacts within the organizations you requested. However, I have to
admit that e-mails for specific journalists and editors are not
readily available. Companies like CNN and Bloomberg don't seem very
ready to publish specific contact details, and the other organizations
are going to require the "long" route for the most part.
If the individuals I listed are not the best contacts for your story,
they may pass it on to another journalist within the organization.
Don't give up, even if it takes a while!

Wall Street Opinion Journal
****************************
If you are interested in contacting the Op/Ed editor about possibly
running your story:
Editorial Features Editor
Tunku Varadarajan.
Submission by fax: 212-416-2255. .
Submission by e-mail: edit.features@wsj.com
If you want to try to write an article yourself, here are the
guidelines:
"If you would like to submit an article for consideration, it must be
exclusive to the Journal. Your article should be a strong argument
about an issue in the news. And it should not be a response to a
Journal article; that is a letter to the editor. For an idea of what
we are looking for, read the Journal's editorial page on a regular
basis.
We prefer that the submission be between 600 to 1,200 jargon-free
words, typewritten, and double-spaced. A cover letter giving a brief
summary of your article should be included along with the author's fax
number, day and evening phone numbers, address or e-mail address if
possible. If you would like for your submission to be returned please
state that in your cover letter and enclose a self-addressed stamped
envelope.
We will call authors on timely articles that are of interest to us as
soon as possible by phone or fax. Otherwise, due to the large volume
of submissions, for articles that we are not able to use, we will
respond by fax, e-mail or mail within 10 business days. Again, due to
the large volume of submissions, please do not call to confirm receipt
or check for a status until 10 business days have elapsed.
Send submissions to the same contact above.

asking who might be the best contacts for discussing your story.
Different departments within the organization will have different

There are no direct e-mail addresses for journalists or editors, but
there is a page link that allows you to contact specific anchors and
correspondents with your requests or comments:
http://money.cnn.com/services/speakup/
By clicking on a specific news segment, and/or a correspondent, you
may be able to find an individual willing to correspond with you about
your story.

It might also be worth e-mailing:
Allen Wastler
Managing Editor
allen.wastler@turner.com.
"Managing Editor Allen Wastler runs our New York newsroom and is a
regular on CNNfn's Money Morning program. His online column, Wastler's
Wanderings, is one of the site's most popular features."

CNN Program Anchors and Reporters
*********************************
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/anchors_reporters/
While the above link will not provide you with e-mail addresses, it
will provide you with names and biographies of all the anchors and
reporters within CNN's many divisions. Once you have narrowed down the
individual name(s) and the division or office, you can then make a
phone call to inquire about how best to contact them. Since there are
so many divisions, you may be reduced to calling information for the
specific offices.
In lieu of calling Information for office phone numbers, you "may" be
lucky and get a return reply by contacting CNN@cnn.com for the
specifics.

I hope these contacts are a good beginning for you. I wish there was
an easier, more direct route....or a very specific name I could give
you. However, investing a little time in pursuing the names I have
provided may eventually be very rewarding. I did, by the way, write a
generic e-mail to both Barron's and the Wall Street Journal requesting
contact e-mails for a possible article about bank fraud. I will let
you know if I get a response.
If anything is unclear in my answer, please don't hesitate to ask for
further clarification. I will help as best I can. Good luck, and I
hope you are doing well otherwise!
