Question ID: 200979
Could you please give me a list of suitable available names for a film
production company in Sydney (specialising in the tv commercial market
for overseas clients)? Being a creative industry, something
imnovative would be preferable. Something to brand. I am a one person
company trying to project efficient, friendly and fun service.

Have you considered using your full name, or part of your name to be
your company name? The most creative and the most memorable names are
not descriptive names, they are proper names.

If you were to open a French restaurant or a dry cleaners, you
wouldn't call those "Quality French Food" or "Quality Cleaners".
Having descriptors as part of your name doesn't endow you with their
qualities, if anything it only makes you look like a generic wannabe.

If you were to call your film production company "Blue Cat", it would
act just like a proper name. Since blue cats have nothing to do with
television, there is no chance your customers would ever confuse you
with all your generic competitors. And since blue cats invoke a
surprising image in our minds, it would also serve as an effective
memory device.
