Question ID: 201030
I need a list of companies into the nasal delivery of drugs (e.g.
Nastech).
Please, build each record in the list including a general paragraph
mentioning that the company is in the nasal drug delivery
business(taken from the same website of the company)plus the weblink
to the company. The more
companies in the list, the better. I know that it is almost impossible
to
cover ALL the companies around the world, but a list of about 15-20
would do it.
Regards,
Tom

hi tom136,
Here is a list of companies involved in nasal drug delivery:
-----------------------------------
Aventis Pharma UK
"Nasal Delivery Platforms - There are several formulation and product
approaches. Namely, Aerosols - propellant driven (solution and
suspensions), Aerosols - aqueous sprays & pumps (solution and
suspensions), Powders – device options are available.
For all of the options there are Aventis Delivery Technologies
available. We have a number of products available and currently market

-----------------------------------
MatTek Corporation
"...The nasal route is an attractive alternative to conventional oral
or parenteral drug delivery. The nasal mucosa provides a moist and
highly vascularized membrane, crucial to rapid absorption into the
blood stream, thus facilitating faster transport to the site of
action. The two main disadvantages of nasal delivery are the limited
maximum dose per spray and the rapidity of clearance from the nasal
cavity. These difficulties can best be addressed early in drug
development. In vitro screening of drug formulations can provide an
efficient and cost-effective method of identifying lead candidates
prior to in vivo testing. We have evaluated the ability of a large
number of drug formulations to penetrate mucous membranes using
MatTek's EpiAirway™ System..."

Alright. I've counted Nastec as #0, since you gave it for free.
There's four (4) here; I'm offering them up to help the other
researchers. Wish I could find more for you; hope these are of some
assistance, in the interim.
