 Departement des Arts Graphiques, for my application to visit. The

Specifically I would like to see any watercolors by: Harpigny,
Daubigny, Corot, et al. Is there a database available with names of

Dear peggy81-ga:

This is as close as you can ever hope to come to any public database
of the contents of the Louvre online. It will require some effort on
your part to gain access:

LOUVRE DATABASES
http://www.louvre.fr/anglais/publicat/bases.htm

Some of these databases are in French and require a telephone call for
access permission. Some are digital and some are text only but this
appears to be the most concise list of works available to the public.
As you may have guessed, for security purposes the entire contents of
the Louvre is a rather guarded issue and some works, such as those
which are not on public display or those that are on loan, may only be
found in these databases. I realize that these might not be as you had
hoped but as I mentioned, this link is made public by the Louvre
itself and provides you with the greatest insight into the collections
within as possible.

Regards;
