I am looking for an email address for William Steig.... I babtsat his
daughter Maggie in the 60's in his apt in the Village.  Would like
some way of saying Hi to Bill, Maggie or former wife Carrie.  I lived
in the same building with Carrie and Maggie in Forest Hills, New York.
 If this could be forwarded to any of them I would be quite happy.  I
am now living in Chicago with 3 sons.  Thank you, Eileen Tait Plundo

there is no where to forward a question

This question proved to be an enormous problem. First, because the
strict Google Answers guidelines forbid us to provide any information
on living private individuals, which also includes well-known persons
like Mr. Steig. Second, because there seems not to be an e-mail
address for William Steig at all. And had I found one, I would not be
allowed to give it to you.

But finally, I have found something that might be a solution to this
problem. There may not be an e-mail address for William Steig, but his
publisher explicitly offers to forward letters to him. Please address
your letter like this:

William Steig
c/o Children's Marketing Department
Farrar, Straus and Giroux
19 Union Square West
New York, NY 10003

So you can write William Steig a letter and also ask him if he has an
e-mail address at all. Surely he will remember you and help you.
