Hi,
I'm using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (windows), and I'm attempting to do the
following:

1) Take several pictures (.jpgs, all 55mm x 90mm in size) and transfer
them onto one 8.5" x 11" sheet. The idea is that I'd like to print
them all on one transparancy sheet.

2) The problem I'm having is that although the pictures all start with
the 55mm x 90mm dimensions, they get progressively smaller when I try
to transfer them to the master 8.5" x 11" sheet. For example, the
first jpg will be the correct size, but then the next image on the
sheet will be about half that size, etc...

How do I get all of the original images to remain the correct size
when I transfer them to the 8.5 x 11 master sheet?

Misterrachel-ga,

Are all of the files that you're working with the same resolution?

Hi Misterrachel-ga,

As mentioned by Beth, the resolution of your images will matter. There
are two things that need to be considered, and they are pixel
dimensions, and image resolution.

A 55mm x 90mm image in 72dpi print resolution has a pixel dimension of
156x255 pixels. In 300dpi, the same image is 650x1063 pixels. For
photographic printing, you will want a resolution of at least 200dpi.

You can check your print resolution by going to "Image->Image Size" in
Photoshop.

Let us know what pixel dimensions and print resolutions you are
dealing with, and we should be able to help.

I believe these pics are not all the same resolution or size. I'd like
them all to have a printable area of 55mm x 90mm, so that I can fit
several of them on one transparancy sheet. I would like to retain
photo quality.
