As a present for my daughter-in-law I want to buy a silk sweater set
consisting of a shell or a short-sleeved sweater and a cardigan, in
size small.  I have tried WinterSilks and TSE (the latter is only on
eBay),and shopped Banana Republic and JCrew in person.

clothing stores with either silk sweater sets or matching pieces.
