Hi giladomeital,

Good day and thanks for your question. It is not necessary to convert
your entire house to run on 220V. It would mean changing all your
electric fittings etc.

What you essentially need is a step-up transformer (voltage
converter). Since it is required for the airconditioner, you will have
to look at its power rating (in Watts). Ideally, it would be 1500
Watts or 1.5kW (kW = kiloWatt = 1000 Watts).

From the site, http://www.voltageconverters.com/voltage_converters.html
it is seen that the prices for the transformer is
1000 W = $59.99
1500 W = $74.99
2000 W = $88.99
3000 W = $124.99
4000 W = $168.99
5000 W = $188.99

If you want to explore the wiring option as explained by jimmyjrosu
below, then a good account of it is given at

If you have any clarifications, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you for using this service and have a nice day

Warm regards,
Aditya

its not a matter of changing all of the electric in you house. You
will need to add a 220 breaker to your breaker box and running a new
wire. I will provide a link to a step by step instructions for
changing 220 to 110, you'll need to do just the opposite, ONE THING TO
KEEP IN MIND, you will need a new wire from the breaker box to the
outlet that can handle 220, also make sure your breaker box is not
full, by full, I mean, each breaker box will show the max amount it
can take on the box, I think it lists it in amps, dont go over that
limit. You can get a new breaker box that will handle more if needed
