Question ID: 202087
I am in the planning phases of starting my own search engine marketing
and optimization firm and need help selecting a name and matching
“.com” website. I would like to see 20 high quality choices no longer
than 20 characters in length. The url must be currently available via
NetSol and contain no dashes. Also, nothing plain (boring) like
“Search Engine Plus” or “Website Optimization Group”.

Some other thoughts:

- Name should be easily spelled
- Should be able to attach a story to it
- Odd ducks are just fine (Blue Martini, Red Herring, etc.)
- Names should not be same with exception of one word, i.e. "SEOPlus",
"SEOGroup", etc. A couple is fine, but please try to limit.

Thanks for your help.

Greetings Gumby203:

Your query is the type I most enjoy answering because it stimulates my
creative thinking. As a PR and Marketing specialist, I have had the
pleasure of name challenges before, and thank you for another
opportunity to brainstorm. I'm also pleased to see you'll consider
wild ducks. Here are 25 choices:

***STANDARD***

SEOPlusWorks.com

SEOPlusNow.com

SEOTopRank.com

TopRankPlus.com

Of all the name I conceived, OptimaRank.com is definitely on my short
list along with BigDogRun.com. If you would like more suggestions or
variations on one of my suggestions, please request a clarification
and I'll be happy to respond. It may be that my ideas assist you in
better defining the parameters of the domain name.

Best regards,

journalist,

Thanks for your answer. While I do think optimarank makes the short
list, it's definately on the plain side as all other SEO firms use
rank, traffic, etc. in their name. I think I could be an 'odd duck'
by using something more technical in nature. What could you do with
technical terms used during the SEO process? Terms could include,
bots, meta, tags, keyword, term, or maybe a command like 'view
source'.

Thank you for your rating and comments. I really like OptimaRank and
you may want to register it soon at a place where cost is under $13 a
year, such as SimpleURL.com.
