I would like to know how to write the word "Welcome" in Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Thai and Vietnamese. I am using Internet Explorer 6 and I have the language packs installed for these languages. I want to be able to write these words in an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop so that I can size them to my will (I am actually designing a poster). If you have a better alternative, I will be glad to hear of it. Thank you very much for your time. I really appreciate your help. |

hi serpentlord, Here are some online dictionaries which should enable you to see how the word "welcome" is written in the languages you want. Just enter the word "welcome" in the search field and you should get the result you want. You can then copy and paste the translated word, and then resize it accordingly. ---------------------------------------- Chinese http://chinese.primezero.com/pzcdz/startu.html http://www.okdaily.com/cgi-bin/ecdict.cgi?english=welcome ---------------------------------------- Korean http://www.sigmainstitute.com/koreanonline/dictionary.shtml http://dic.impact.pe.kr/ ---------------------------------------- Japanese http://poets.notredame.ac.jp/cgi-bin/jedi-inon ---------------------------------------- Thai http://www.dict4u.com/ ---------------------------------------- Vietnamese http://www.saigon.com/~vietdict/index.html ---------------------------------------- Arabic http://tarjim.ajeeb.com/ajeeb/default.asp?lang=1 http://server2.maktoobchat.net:8080/examples/jsp/dictionary/english_dictionary.jsp?word=welcome ---------------------------------------- Related sites: "Welcome in over 325 languages" http://www.elite.net/~runner/jennifers/welcome.htm ---------------------------------------- Search terms (Google): [ welcome languages ] [ thai dictionary ] [ vietnamese dictionary ] [ arabic dictionary ] ---------------------------------------- I hope this is the solution you're looking for. regards, Jack |
