Thanks for your question. I was fortunate enough to see this movie
years ago and remember it fondly.
According to article in "The Toronto Star," the difficulty with "The
Constant Nymph" being released on video is due to copyright.
"...although Ted Turner purchased the Warners package (in the U.S.)
for video, he doesn't own rights to this wonderful film. Rights
reverted long ago to the estate of Margaret Kennedy." [Kennedy was the
author of the original book on which the film was based].

No, this isn't the answer to the question. We all know that the
Kennedy Estate owns the rights to the film. Joan Fontaine herself
told me that. But why is the Kennedy Estate refusing to allow it on TV
or video?
