I want to know what legal/financial recourse I have with a previous owner and a contractor who did some faulty work on the CA condo I purchased. A spa tub with no lip to prevent leaks and tile without waterproofing was installed. The first day I live here I discovered it because of a leak that did not appear upon home inspection. The previous owner is contacting the contractor (I don't know if he was licensed/bonded yet) and I am going to check with the city for permits for this work, which they needed. | |
