I have a company network running Exchange Server 2000 (E2K). My network is connected to internet via Linksys BEFVP41 DSL Router. Our ISP is Bellsouth business DSL with static IP option. To my opinion, I have configured everything correctly. I can send and receive emails from/to many domains including hotmail.com and yahoo.com. Strangly, I cannot send emails to any email address ending with cfl.rr.com, earthlink.net or metrolink.net. But I can receive emails from these domains. The message seats in the SMTP queue until it times out and sends NDR to user saying "Could not deliver the message in the time limit specified. Please retry or contact your administrator. <mail.qualitymedicalcare.net #4.4.7>" I have researched thouroughly on internet, attempted many configuration changes, seeks help from these ISP but to no avail. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Raj-- |

You may need to check and see if you are running an open relay, and also if you are on a real time spam black list. http://mail-abuse.org/cgi-bin/lookup www.ordb.org This happened to a company that I work for when I first started as network admin. The other admin had left the server open for mail relays. |
