robertskelton-ga are there any other ways to find "experienced
programmers"? I feel I have exhausted my efforts with the newspaper,
head hunters etc. I was hoping there might be some other avenues. If
not, I understand and will accept the answer.

Hi again, I have found two more sites that might be of use to you:

TopCoder is where programmers compete against each other to see who is
the best - and they have job postings as well:
http://www.topcoder.com/

Jobs for Programmers is a job site which is only for programmers -
employers can browse their resumes:
http://www.prgjobs.com/

Thank you robertskelton-ga for the additional information. I believe
this will help me find what I am looking for.

I don't know if you are intersted in living in the Northwest Arkansas
area, but we are in need of a programmer for a Bible College. Can give
more info, if interested.
