I need glass replacement lids for 7" and 10" Regal Ware pans from the
1970's. Haven't been able to find them through my normal search
methods. Any help ? |

Greetings, hubbear!
I may have found a possible source for you. However, in order to be
certain, I need to confirm a couple of things with you:
- the 7" and 10" pans about which you are speaking are round,
stainless steel cooking pans with handles;
- a description of the type of handle on the lid, and whether the lid
has any special sculpturing to it (it would be really helpful if you
could post a pictur of the pots and/or lid online);
- if there is a code number, a pattern name or number, or any other
special information on the bottom of (or anywhere else on) the pan,
and if so, what that information is; and
- whether Regal ware lids from other patterns, which fit these pans,
are acceptable to you.

The only mark on the pans is a "G" in the middle of the bottom, with
"Regal Ware Inc" one one side of a smooth circle on the bottom, and
"Made in USA" on the other side. The pans are thick aluminum, with a
knubbly outer finish. The handles are black, about 1" wide, with a
teardrop-shaped hanging hole in the end.
I could take glass lids from other Regal Ware pans, if they would fit
for sure. The old lids, all of which are now broken and discarded, are
relatively flat (slight doming), with a flat outer lip about 1/4"
wide.
