Please provide me with the location in Melbourne and Sydney of any
public wireless networks. ie: library or coffee shops that have open
networks - where you can take your laptop and connect to the internet
via wireless.

sites are added daily. You can search for a Hotspot by Country at the
bottom of the page. It appears that the website isn’t working properly
