For other researchers who may pursue this question: Unforutnately, asearch at PBS.org's "shop" (where many DVDs, etc. are sold) turns up nothing for either "King's Singers" or "Wolf Trap." kriswrite |

Hi oogbla-ga, I have E-mailed PBS requesting a source where this program can be purchased. I will provide you with more information as soon as I have heard from PBS. My online search turned up nothing... Regards, slawek-ga |

Hi oogbla, I have received an E-mail back from PBS stating they are very backed up, and that the wait is usually around 3 weeks time. In response, I called the toll free number provided in the E-mail I received back, and after having a search done by a human being on the other end, nothing was found in their inventory that would even remotely sound like what you are looking for. I asked for a recommendation as to where I could try to find a copy of this show, and was told to try contacting the local PBS department. Since each department does their own programming, can you please tell us where you are located, so we can contact your local PBS station? Thanks in advance. Researcher slawek-ga, Google Answers |

I know that TV stations rarely.... RARELY... keep video around for more than 15 or so years, due to changes in video formats, etc. And if it was a performance - especially if it was live rather than taped - the chance that the tape still exists will be miniscule. You may wish to contact WGBH-TV directly. They may be your best bet. You may contact them at the following link: http://www.wgbh.org/contact/ |
