Question ID: 203006
I would like to know if these work from home on your computer jobs
will allow you to really make money. All of these sites require you
to pay a fee up front for the "software," or "access," so I'm
wondering if you really do pay their fees can you actually make money
or if these sites are a scam.
I am interested in any information on the following sites or sites
like them:

http://www.paidsurveysonline.com/?hop=admantest1.surveys2

http://refundprocessor.biz/special.htm

http://www.shoppingjobshere.com/?hop=coursepal.shop4pay

http://www.paidresponse.com/join.html

I really would like conclusive data or experience, not just
speculation from reading the information on these companies' websites.
I have surfed them extensively and am looking for 3rd party
conclusive
validation.

Thank you.

Dear dwk020-ga

Companies like these are mentioned 1000s of times on the internet as
they operate affiliate programs, post numerous message on bulletin
boards and some run recruitment schemes where the introducer receives
an introduction fee. The general advice appears to be that you should
be extremely wary of any company asking for money up front. How many
jobs have you been in where they wanted money from you so you could
work for them? How many people do you know pay their employer so they
can work for them?
Read the advice on the Better Business Bureau pages detailed below.

No contact address on the web site.

Look at http://www.acidics.com/
The Acidics web site declares itself to rout out ‘Make Money Online
Scams and Hoaxes’. It has some useful general advice and information
on the subject.
On paidsurveysonline it states:
"This is a sort of fraudulent scheme, which asks you to pay nearly $35
to create an account. For this money they'll give you a list of links
to other GPT Do Surveys sponsors. Thus your $35 will be just wasted
away. Paid Surveys Online has absolutely no surveys of its own except
the sign-up form. Moreover giving your credit card number to such
tricksters can create the danger of identity theft. SCAM."

There are six forum messages on users’ experiences of the company
paidsurveysonline.

My mom did the refund thing. I remember she received a couple of reams
of names and old addresses. She ended spending a couple of hundred
dollars, but never even recovered one person.

And even if she had been lucky enough to find someone, the Federal
government advises people to recover their money without going through
an intermediary and without paying a commission.
