Hello again.
Thanks for the additional info...I think it will help. I'm still
looking, and I anticipate getting some good information in a few days.
Mean time, I wanted to let you know of an interesting company in China
-- the probably don't make the Fremont's, but they seem to make a very
high quality instrument. Take a look at the articles below, if you're
interested:

The Adventure of Musical Instrument Manufacturing in China
The saxophones are remarkable. Incredibly in tune and with a most
lovely, rich tone, very well centered. And the instruments look
beautiful--the right color, excellent mechanism, great "feel, and very
even registration. These are technically student instruments but they
play just like, and in some cases, better than my big name
professional instruments.

A review of Jinyin Music Saxophones
In the past couple of decades there has been an explosion of
saxophones being produced in the Far East. Unfortunately, many of
these instruments suffered from design and manufacturing problems. It
is clear that over the past 5 years, however, that many saxophones
produced in China and elsewhere have taken considerable leaps in
quality and design, especially with the introduction of new
technology. It is the maturing of workmanship, design and materials
that is helping to turn around the stigma of Far Eastern musical
instruments. One manufacturer who takes this commitment very seriously
is Jinyin Music.
Jinyin Music is a Chinese instrument manufacturer based in Hebei
province that has invested a great deal of time, money and effort into
producing a truly artistic and great playing saxophone. I was
originally contacted through an enthusiastic e-mail asking how I might
be able to help spread the word about Jinyins saxophones. Having not
played one, I requested a sample to try. The instruments (soprano,
alto and tenor) I received to test were all stencils for other
companies such as Toyama.

are made, is:
