I have an address but I would like to know whose address it is.  Is
there some way that I can find out the person or company who is at an

Is that a street address or an email address? Two differnt searches
there. Email addresses are very difficult to track back if its
something like a yahoo or hotmail address.

If it's a street address, which city is it in? Many cities have books
available in which you can look up addresses to see who is there, and
some such directories are online (although definitely not all).

doesn't work for this--they can search telephone numbers to find

1. Under advanced searches, select "find by address"
2. Enter the street number, address, city, state
3. Hit "search"

I know at least in my local city, the Assessor's Database is online. 
You can look up property by street address and they give not only the
name of the people, but also property value.

do a search for whatever city the address is in, and then either
"assessor" or "property values"...

if you give the address, we can help look.
