Dear ktmworld,

Your site is very impressive. As the other researchers have mentioned,
a search for KTM <://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=KTM&btnG=Google+Search>
brings up KTM World as the last result of the first page, which is not
bad, considering there are 592,000 results on that term.

However, I'll try to explain chages in your page's Google ranking, and
how to optimise your performance. Before that, let me clarify, that
Google Answers is not linked with the Google Index, and I am not a
Google employee. I am, though, sort of an expert on search engine
submission, and in particular in Google submission.

The result of a search in Google depends on several factors. The
Google robot crawls through the web every once in a while, updating
and changing the ranking. Therefore, ranking is dynamic and might
change (among other factors) with the popularity, link connection and
quality of the site's links and key-words.

Changes in those factors - either in your site or in other sites (they
have increased or decreased their popularity) - affect your ranking.

In your case, if the number and quality of the sites you are linked to
hasn't changed (you could check out how many and whom are linked to
you by clicking on ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=link%3A+www.ktmworld.com&btnG=Google+Search),
it could be that the other sites, the ones that are listed above your
site, are better linked, or have better keywords. KTM USA (the first
result), for example, is linked to much more sites.

There are countless tricks to enhance your ranking in Google and in
general. For example, the other pages of your site might not be
crawled by the machine - adding keywords to these pages might bring
new links - the internal linking in the site might also enhance your
chances; you could also add an article on KTMs or other types of
quality content (users' tips, etc.) that would attract people to link
to that particular page, and in general to your own page. It is good
that you're listed in DMOZ (Google Directory), but the more listings
the better. There are many other possibilities, as you could see at
the following (few of many) advice sites:
