I am looking for a song from the 50'5 or 60's
I don't know the name of the artist, sorry
I think the title is "Ball Bearing Birds"
some of the lines are "ball bearing birds, ball bearing birds, have
never been seen, have never been heard"
I think it came from a KTel record

Are you looking for the artist who sang the version on the K-Tel
record or the artist who wrote and originally recorded the song?
(They may be different people.)

Australian Frankie Davidson had a song called "Ball Bearing Bird" that
may be what you're looking for. He recorded a number of "wacky"
songs. Click on the following link to view the titles of some of
them:
http://folk-music.mainseek.com/609/16/Frankie_Davidson.html

Also, it seems that the full chorus of the song you're looking for may
be:
"The ball bearing bird
the ball bearing bird
has never been seen
has never been heard
we know that it's roaming and roaming around
'cause it's spreading ball bearings all over the ground"

Unfortunately, as of yet I have not been able to confirm if the above
lyrics are for the Davidson song. I am still researching this
however.
