In the mid to late nineties I saw a movie titled either "When night is
falling"
or "Night is falling". I am  somewhat confident that one or the other
is the correct title for the film. If not then this brief description
may help. It was a very unusual film with  a great story, very natural
acting and beautiful music being the story of two young women from
completely diferent backgrounds, one a black circus performer, the
other a very conservative catholic school teacher. They meet in a
laundramat and only get together when each take the wrong laundry
home. The black woman is lesbian and gradually convinces the  very
straight-laced anglo-saxon school teacher to experiment with same sex
intimacy until she learns to embrace the alternative option to the
extent she plans to ditch her male catholic fiance who is absolutley
shattered. It actually won "Best new  movie"  as voted by the Canadian
film public at the yearly film festival.
Anyway back to question; the  various tracks in the movie made a
terrific CD or cassette or whatever form the music was available in
then but had very limited exposure. I cant remember much else other
than the only luck I had with enquiries was that the  music was
relaesed under the label DECA or a word that makes the sound DEECA.
I.E Like the old label DECCA but with the e sound different. Where,
How etc can I get hold of that sound track and/or is it still
available

back order", you can certainly get hold of it from some of the more

Yes thanks Willie, cant ask much more than that as you certainly
provided  a means by which I could get hold of soundtrack. I did not
think it would be that easy however. I will now have to see if any of
the specialist stores in Australia have it but I suspect not as I have
asked before and I dont think any of the responses you got back from
searches would have indicated availability in Australia either??? I
went through the links you provided and would have liked to get into
link about the movie iteslf,( the last link) but tried and tried but
no access to link at all.
