Is there some way to only count unique numbers in a pivot table? I have list in an excel spreadsheet with information organzied in columns of 1. year, 2. project number and 3. project type, from which I created a pivot table. I'm trying to count the number of project types by project. But for example the same project is showing up twice by project type in 1999 & 2000, and thus in the pivot table the project type reflects (counts) 2. I only want that project to be counted as 1 in the pivot table. And I have to have the date range, so I can't just pick one year. I'm not an expert in pivot tables, so any instructions will need to be on the simplier side (if possible). thanks |
