I am looking for an older McCullough carb kit for an older chain saw. 
I need kit # 588 56.

"NOTICE TO MCCULLOCH OWNERS 
 
The McCulloch Co. filed bankruptcy in 1/99. The parts inventory was
sold at auction in 6/99.Many of the parts for their electric products
were hard to get before they went out of business and are no longer
available. Many parts for gas chain saws, produced before 1980, were
no longer available before they went out of business and are no longer
available. Most parts for the Titan saws are no longer available.
Parts for the generators are no longer available.  We have an
inventory of new & used McCulloch parts in stock. Please be advised
that some McCulloch parts will never be available again. We will try
to find the McCulloch parts that you need to the best of our ability.

We are still be able to get what, limited selection of after market
parts, that are out there. Chain ,bars, drive sprockets, carburetor
kits, fuel & air filters are still available for the more current
model saws. We have bars & chain for most saws in stock.

Update 4/11/02:We purchased some McCulloch parts from another dealer.
Most of these parts are chainsaw parts. We have for the
PM605/PM610/PM650 EB 3.4/EB 3.7/Timberbear saws: Ignition
coils(29.95),oil pumps, clutches, clutch sprockets, chain adjusters,
bar plates, cylinder shields, rear handles, frame handles, fuel caps,
oil caps, recoil starters & air filters. We have for the
110/140/160/310/320/330/340/ EB 2.0/ Mac Cat
2.3 saws. Air filters, gas caps, chain adjusters, oil caps, clutches &
clutch sprockets. We have for the PM4600/PM4700/PM4800/PM5000/ Farm
Saws: Oil pumps, coils, air filters, oil caps, gas caps, chain
adjusters, clutches & clutch sprockets. For curved shaft trimmers:
complete heads for trimmers dating back into the mid-80's.We have
straight shaft trimmer heads. For the newer trimmers, we have throttle
cables, bump knobs, pre wound spools, debris shields, air filters,
primer bulbs, air boxes & air filter covers.

Update 4/24/02. We purchased more parts from 2 dealers. We have parts
for the 32/35/38cc 3200/3214/3514/3516/3816/3818 saws: Oil tanks, fuel
tanks, primer bulbs, oil pumps, starter assemblies, chain adjusters,
oil caps, gas caps, air filters, chain brake handles, frame handles,
coils(32.95) & clutches.

Update 5/8/02: We have Rex Head refills 8" 10" & 12".We have
clutch sprockets for the last production electric chain saws. We have
plastic chain brake handles for the 100 & 300 series saws( 2.0/2.1/2.3
c.i. saws).

Update 6/5/02: We have throttle/ trigger handles for the
310/320/ Mac Cat 2.3 saws. 

Update 8/2/02: We have complete starters for the 100 & 300 series
saws. Starter pulleys for the 100 & 300 series saws. We have flex
shaft cables for the larger gas trimmers.

Update 8/21/02: We found more parts!! Oil pumps for the 100 & 300
series chain saws. Flywheels& starter pawls for the PM610/605
Timberbear saws.

Update 9/10/02: Points & condenser sets for PM10-10 &
Mini Mac & 100 series saws. Electronic ignition coils, clutches &
sprockets for the PM10-10/PM700 saws. Update

10/12/02: We found air filters, oil & gas caps for the PM800/805/850
series saws. Debris shields for the straight shaft trimmers.

Update 11/16/02:We found electronic ignition coils for the Mac 100
series/EB 2.0 saws(19.95). We have 20" bars for the
PM4600/4700/4800/5000/Farm Saws. We purchased a whole bunch of
PM605/610/650/PM5700/EB 3.4/3.7/Timberbear starters.


Update 1/5/03:The new McCulloch Company is up & running. We are still
a McCulloch service & parts dealer. We have parts in stock for the new
McCulloch products.

Update 1/26/03: For PM605/610/650/PM5700/EB3.4/3.7/Timberbear saws we
have fuel tanks, oil tanks, spark screens. mufflers & chain brakes
assemblies. We have many parts for those saws. Update 3/8/03: We have
8"saw & brush blades for the brush cutters. Mufflers & spark screens
for the newer trimmers. We
keep finding parts every week. We have many other parts available. Too
many to list. So send us an email & see if we can help. "
