At the end of episode 314 of the Simpsons, airdate 5/11/2003, Homer
and Jackson Browne are singing a rendition of one Jackson Browne's
songs - they have replaced the lyrics with ones that Homer wrote,
though. What was the name of the original song?

Hello.

According to a message posted to Yahoo's Jackson Browne Group, the
song was "Rosie."

From Message #21976:
"Subject: Simpsons
...he sang rewritten words to ROSIE."

Jackson Browne's "Rosie" is on his "Running on Empty Album." A sound
clip is available on Tower Records' web site:

search strategy: "jackson browne" messages

I hope this helps.
