My father says that part of the lyrics may go like this:

In 1992
In 1992
We'll still be tryin' for farm relief
In 1992

You can bet your bottom dollar
If what I hear is true
We'll still be buying liquor
In 1992

The song "In 1992" appears to have been recorded originally by Vernon
Dalhart. See the track listing for a CD of Dalhart's music:

Perhaps another researcher will be able to locate the lyrics.
Good luck!

True. Dalhart first recorded the song "In 1992" with Columbia Record
on March 31, 1930 under the pseudonym "Al Craver". The song also
played for a time in 1991 and 1992 on the Dr. Demento radio show.
Maybe you ask them about the lyrics.

Sorry I couldn't find them for you.
