I'm considering using online dating sites. I'm trying to figure out
how well they work. Can you find info on how satisfied the typical
(male) user of sites like match.com or the Yahoo! personals is? Does
contacting members actually lead to many dates or relationships? If
you have personal experiences with online dating, that interests me
also.

I could also tell you that I met more satisfied customers as
non-satisfied or cheated customers, but that is of course only an
observation, and not a researched advice.

What I recommend? Go for it. You have (almost) nothing to lose (except
for the subscription fees).

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but I met my husband
through an online personals ad :)  So sometimes online dating works!
