My name is Lalaine. I would like to know the origin and meaning of my name. I am Asian-American and was named after Lalaine Bennett, a Filipina Miss Universe contestant in 1963. |

I wonder if Lalaine might be a variation of the Polynesian name Leilani, meaning "heavenly"? |
