I hope to win the contract to provide entertainment on Brighton's
lovely old West Pier.

It was used for the Richard Attenborough film 'Oh What a Lovely War'
and, before that, it used to be famous for its pierrots.

I would like to sign up Hummer & Hammer as fast talking comedians in
the Charlie Chaplin mode ...

And maybe Pinky could dress up as a gypsy and do her crystal ball
stuff?

I shall also need a dance troupe of ladies who can dance like Ethel
Merman and sing like Cyd Charisse.

OK ... You get the idea.

Please post your suggestions as Comments to Question 161982 and I
shall award the Stars & Dosh here but only after a healthy number of
comments have been posted.

Are you ready?

On your marks ...

GO!

It's Hammer in the lead ...

C'mon Hammer, hurry up, hurry up.

I don't suppose Chellphill will be commenting after I left an aitch
out of his name.

Sorry, Chellphill!

Hurry up and do what? Am I late? What for? Help!!!

BTW, I refuse to race against Pink. Her hair always smacks me in the
face as she blows by me.

Well, dressing up as a gypsy was fun!

But about that crystal ball...

Dunno about the Ethel Merman/Cyd Charisse thing, but I can dance like
Ernest Borgnine and sing like Sid Caesar.

I cannot resist making this comment:

My colleague chellphill, who is an Okie lady like myself, probably
will be less concerned by the aitch-dropping than by the gender
assumption. ;-)

Sorry Again, Chellphill!

I should have known ... the Okie dames are SO smart.

Will you ever forgive me?

Hehe, that is quite all right! My nickname, "chell" is short for
Michelle, and I have been mistakenly referred to as "Michael" for
years. :-)
And as for us Okie girls being smart.... We are a swift bunch, aren't
we? <grin>
Hmmm... maybe it's something in the air here?
(takes a deep breath, then sneezes)
Okay, maybe it's not the air.... :-)
