I would like a list of the twenty five largest trade shows of each
country in Eastern Europe as well as Central and South America for the
last 2 years. I need a contact in charge of each one as well as phone
numbers, email addresses and their website.

I just find a very interesting site. It was to hard to find this site
until I change the strategy.
Looking for in direct search engine does not give any result. Then I
went to Yahoo Directories and voila!!
I found in this page:

In this site you must login as a member, so you must give some
personal data and one e-mail. But donīt worry I did it for you. Spam
will be only for me :).
In the login area, in the upper right corner, you must put
livio@samerica.com in e-mail field and use joel as password. Click on
the Login button.

Now you are in the main page. You must click the link "Search
Exhibition" in the upper blue banner.

A new page will be open. In this page you can choose what kind of
search you will use.

For example you can search by country using the Search By Industry
section :
Leave All Industries in the field Industry, select the country and
choose the time interval.
If you test with Mexico and the time interval between 01/2000 and
05/2002 you will obtain 44 records. In other less developed countries,
like Bolivia, you will find less.
In every results page you can will get a list of the most important
trade shows happened in that time interval.
Each item of the list is a link to a page wich give to you  the
required data: contact, phone numbers, e-mail and web site of the
organiser.


The other web site doesnīt has data of the past trade shows, but
offers a searchable directory of present and future trade shows around
the world, with their organizers.

Combinig this tool with the Expopoint search you will have access to a
big database of contacts, e-mail, addresses and web sites of events,
companies, fairs, and exhibitors all over the world.
