I'm looking for information about an artist nameed "A. Marc." I
believe he worked in water colors in New York in the 1940s. I have an
old water color painting my mother left me that she originally bought
in New York in the forties. It's a scene of Manhatten as seen from
New Jersey around 1940. It is not signed so I have no idea who the
artist is. But yesterday at an antique store I saw a water color
painting of the New York public library. The age and style seem to be
identical to my painting. The artist was "A. Marc". Has anyone ever
heard of his work? Is he still alive?
