Hello,

The United States maintains a list of foreign trade offices as well as
foreign customs offices (just in case you were thinking of asking
another $100 question). The links follow below:

I was actually looking for the state level offices, I probably should
have been a little more descriptive in my original question. I am
looking for offices utilized and maintained by the individual 50 U.S.
States. For example if the State of Washington has a foreign trade
office set up in Tokyo, Japan, I want be able to contact it.

Thanks,

Joel

I've found information on a couple of the states, and didn't know that
they had individual state's foreign trade offices in other countries.
I'm starting to compile a list, but it will take some time as each
state is different, and there isn't a comprehensive list that I could
find as of yet. I called the U.S. Department of Commerce and I expect
them to get back to me by Monday. Please be patient, and I'll get your
answer as soon as posssible! (sorry for the confusion in the original
question)

Gary Balk at the US Department of Commerce told me they do not
maintain a list of foreign state-level offices in foreign countries,
but directed me to another organization which does. They are the
National Association of State Development Agencies, and I left a
message with their staff which are researching the question and will
get back to me probably either today or tomorrow. So fret not I am
making good progress on this question.

In the interim if you wish to see a list of domestic state-level
offices, they follow below, and can be reached individually for their
foreign counterparts.

Another day has passed and still no word from the representative of
NASDA that I left a message with. I'm calling again to leave another
message. Thank you for being so patient.

I don't think I am going to receive a call back from that
representative. Please advice with a clarification if the resources I
listed above were sufficient for your needs and if so please rate my
answer. I've answered a couple other of your questions so I thank you
again and I look forward to working on more of your questions to your
satisfaction.
