Just some thoughts from my own perspective as a postgraduate
university student:

Pros - We're 'safer' because more money is being channelled in to our
defence force. Welfare cheats have been cracked down on.

Cons - If you want a tertiary education or decent health care, forget
about it!

My personal gripe (if you will indulge me) is with the recent tax
cuts. I question whether your average family - or indeed anyone at all
- would prefer $6 per week rather than a public health system that
enables doctors to bulk bill everyone.
