Discovery Records used to be in Los Angeles during the 1970's. I can't find them. Did they merge with another company or change their name. I wanted to inquire about MARGO'S THEME DS 805 - Jack Wilson and if they'll ever make a follow-up CD. Original done in vinyl in '79. Also - if possible - would like Jack Wilson's email for a reproduced CD...Thanks....Oldesmoothy |

Hi oldesmoothy, Here are some interesting links for you, but sorry to say, I haven't been able to answer your question. Perhaps the jazzlabels mailing list mentioned below would be able to help. Discovery Records List: "Label established in 1948 by Albert Marx in New York". http://homepage.mac.com/ziegler/labels/discovry.htm Jazz Records Label List: http://www16.brinkster.com/fitzgera/labels/homepage.htm To subscribe to the jazzlabels mailing list, send email to jazzlabels-subscribe@egroups.com Good luck, hummer |
