I have an old UK TV theme tune buzzing around in my head and it's
driving me up the wall trying to remember (a) who performed it (b)
exactly which programme it was and (c) who the artist was that
performed it.

It was a short guitar piece, sounded a bit like "The Shadows" style.
The programme used to be screened early evenings in the North West UK,
maybe around 25ish years ago (a very rough guess.) Possibly it was a
news programme called 'look north west', possibly a consumer rights
programme called 'this is your right' with a chap called lord
winstanley.

As best as I can manage one part of the score went something like
this, I am not a capable music-reader or writer so I hope this gives
some kind of impression & might jog a memory. It's just what the
composer on my mobile phone is showing me.

all notes meant to be black ones with one tail.
underscores - notes between the lines on the stave
pluses - notes on the lines on the stave
hashes - sharp note on the space below the line indicated
x - sharp note *on* the line indicated
r1-short rest looks like a vertical stick with 3 blobs
r2-medium rest, looks like a number 3 backwards.
