Someone is hacking into two locations, two DSL Accounts. They have
been deleting files, destroying our hard drives, etc. The service is
through DSL QWEST.) Addtionally they are blocking somehow our access
to our servers. This has been documented over the last two weeks. They
are tapped into several computers, and continue to destroy our files.
They seem to be monitoring and saving files from one location to a
second locations computers. Files are showing up with Dos applications
which we did not install.
We are 99 % sure they are additionally tapped into our phone syestems
at both locations. We have heard voices on our line while connected
(previously on dial up and we are cut off numerous times daily on each
computer (while using DSL)
our phone system. Need advice catching and on prosecuting. |

Never mind the country, it must be the US if you are using Qwest...
City and State would be extremely helpful to find someone that can
assist you.

Hi again llcds,
There is little doubt that what you are experiencing is a crime. In my
opinion, you need professional assistance. I'm working on finding
people in your area that can assist you. I've described your problem
to 3 people, hopefully one will get back to me with a referral of
someone local to you that is qualified to help.
In the meantime, it's very likely that the Rochester Police Department
has an "Internet Crime" division.
Their Official Web Site
http://www.ci.rochester.mn.us/police/pdinitr.htm
Roger Peterson - Chief of Police - rpeterson@ci.rochester.mn.us
Steve Johnston - Deputy Police Chief - sjohnston@ci.rochester.mn.us
Sarah Clayton - Administrative Services Mgr -
sclayton@ci.rochester.mn.us
I noticed they have a local call-in show:
..."Cop Talk Live is the weekly television program of the Rochester
Police Department and is aired every Monday evening from 7:30 PM to
8:30 PM on Cable Channel 10. This is a Live, Call-in program, please
join us and feel free to call the show with your questions:
(507)287-2345 ..."
*** IMPORTANT *** I just called them, they said for you to call
Captain Pittenger tomorrow morning at this number: (507) 285-8264
Let me know what happens. I REALLY feel for you, this has happened to
me too. It's really a bummer. Start backing up all your important
files, it's very likely they will need your computer to get the
evidence they will need to prosecute.
