I will be in Tanzania for 4 years. What is the best and cheapest way
to recieve money from the uk for use in Tanzania ? I am told that USA
dollars are the best curency for Tanzania.

Bank to bank transfer.

When you get to Tanzania open a bank account and then instruct your UK
bank to transmit funds as and when.

If US$ are the favoured currency, then instruct your UK bank to
transfer in this currency.

Avoid any further currency conversions as these always add to the
costs.
