I need a link to a graphic image available on the Internet of a "pink
slip". (like when you get laid off) It should preferably be
high-resolution, in jpg or gif format, be an authentic scanned image
of a real pink slip, and not include any specific information (like
names or employers).
thanks and good luck!

Is this the sort of thing you're looking for? If so, I can probably
find other, similar images.

University of Waterloo Library

As my colleague supermacman has indicated below, not all notices of
termination are pink.

I guess those are a good start, but I'm really looking for a very
STEREOTYPICAL pink slip. Perhaps one that says (or indicates) "you've
been terminated". Possibly one issued from a government agency, big
federal or corporate employeer, or HR Dept. I guess it doesn't
necessarily have to be pink, but they must be called "pink slips" for
a reason, right?
The uwaterloo one looks more like an application to resign and the
Ericson one looks like a personal memo or communication, rather than a
general, bulk form.
Thanks guys.

Hi khufu,

Most .jpgs of "pink slips" also known as Termination Letters, or...
all _I_ could find, are already filled in. It would help if we knew
the reason you want a .jpg, or, if any of the examples below will
work, let me know and I'll keep looking for something a bit more
generic for you. I think one of these might work, but:

1) They are not pink.
2) They are not .jpgs, they are working examples of FORMS that can be
printed, copied and pasted into a word prosessor, and then filled in.

Here you go:

I am sure that if anyone has a pink slip then Pinky will have one.

I would pay $$$$$ for a piccy of Pinky modelling her finest.

Hi Khufu,

Here's a link to a site that says the origin of the term "pink slip"
is undetermined, and that despite years of searching, one curator at
the Smithsonian Museum has been unable to find any examples of actual
*pink* slips. http://www.snopes.com/language/colors/pinkslip.htm

Nevertheless, here is one image of an actual pink slip. Unfortunately
it does have both the name of the worker and the company on it, so
does not answer your question. Therefore I offer it as a comment
rather than an answer.

Interesting question - I hope another Researcher has better luck.

Re byrd's comment:

The Snopes link is excellent. However, I doubt that Oro Dam
Constructors slip was pink in real life. The photo next to it is also
pink, and I'm sure it wasn't that way in real life.
