I have created a pillow that prevents snoring. There are individuals
who would like to work with me to market it. How can I find the
best, honest company who can do a test TV infomercial. There are
several on the Web.They tell you the parameters of a ratio of 5:1 for
markup:cost. But it is very expensive. How can I rate them or find one
that I can trust?

I am a retired (successful) businessman from Australia currently
in Kingston Jamaica and travelling the world, doing a few bits
and pieces for my children. I have ample surplus funds to invest
as "venture capital"; in return for a fair and resonable share of
the company and/or profits. If something takes my fancy.

Your anti-snore pillow, if it actually works, seems to me to be the
ideal product to lend itself to promotion via an infomercial which
by the way are very costly to produce. You will also need additional
capital for bulk manufacture etc etc. If you find you could use some
venture capital and (maybe) some good business advice from an
"old-codger"
like me with nearly half a century of business experience then
put a posting up here indicating an expression of interest in my
offer. Be careful not to put your personal contact details as this
is against GA procedures and regualations.

Nonetheless I am hopeful that as an regular user of GA Answers I will
with a "special request" be able to approach the appropriate
GA department in order for us to effectively do an exchange of contact
details.

This is not a service that I imagine GA would normally offer however
I will be happy to pay GA any additional fee they request for this
service and/or donate $100 to any charity specified GA. In so doing we
may be able to exhange details "off-air" so to speak. Although this
may take anything
up to a week to put in place, get approvals etc. I will look out for
your
comment and would appreciate, at least, an acknowledgement of this
offer.
Thanking you and kind regards from: Roger

If it works, I know that I'd buy one for my Dad as a birthday present!

bwll77-ga:

If what you stated for the pillow idea is still true I would very much
enjoy speaking with you.

I have my account set to notify me if there is a reply. Guess it
works for replies to comments.

Instead of going to all the trouble of donations etc... When I see
your reply I will reply with a email address established just for the
purpose of exchanging contact info. There is also the option of going
to one of the many H-ware, S-ware boards I frequent that have private
threads available.
