You are going to be hard pressed to find any flat screen plasma tv for
less than several thousand dollars. Even if someone was trying to sell
you a stolen plasma tv, it would cost more than $150. Anyone offering
such a tv for $150 is simply trying to rip you off.

I was asking about some web sites which are selling e-books and then
promising you a gift of a plasma TV after a certain number of people
have bought their products.

Ah. I am familiar with that kind of scheme. The one I looked at
promised a laptop. It turned out that to get a $1500 laptop, you would
have to get enough people to buy ebooks such that the company giving
you the laptop would have recieved $3500. And if you didn't get that
many people to give the company money, you would get nothing. *And*
this is all assuming you trust the company to accurately report the
number of people buying through you. All in all, I recommend that you
stay away from these kind of schemes.
