I've developed a 'patent pending' architecture for fax machines and am
looking for information about companies that can build machines based
on my designs.

Information about companies in the U.S./Canada and some outside this
area is appreciated.

Further, I'm also looking for information about such capability at
universities ( prior research done by professors or research teams) in
the U.S./canada.

contact the EE (electrical engineering) dept at universities. Not sure
on you rlocation, but where i live, CalPoly SLO, everyone must doa
senior project and dept's love to have new ideas for the students. One
note: going to any educational instituion, you would most likely would
not be able to sell their product, just have them build a prototype.
