I have four framed prints of old west scenes by Alice Smith.  I grew
up glancing at these pictures every day and it made me dream of living
in the "old west" some day.  I now am living in Tucson, AZ and these
prints just seem to be drawing me in.  My father passed away two years
ago and I decided to take the pictures home with me from Montana.

Amything at all out ther about ALICE SMITH?

In any event, this auction indicates that the artist's full name was
Alice Ravenel Huger Smith (1876-1958).  Searching for that full name
on search engines will lead you to a fair amount of information,
including a photograph of her studio in Charleston, SC, and a book
about her life.
