Hello zpatch,
I have a few different numbers for you:
From a Canadian website, the Gross National Product per capita was
listed at $290 for the year 2001, and the population was listed at
116,000,000 so that would give us a number of $33,640,000,000 for teh
year 2001.

Encarta Encyclopedia confirms that the Gross National Product per
capita in Nigeria was $290, "among the 20 lowest in the world and well
below the average for sub-Saharan Africa." They do not give a
population for 2001, but the population for 2003 is listed as:
133,881,703, so it would be best to use the above figure.

Here is another figure but I am not sure what date this is. I suspect
that it is slightly older because Nigernias GNP has been falling on
average in the last few years, but am including it in case you find it
useful:
The gross national prouct per capita in US dollars for Nigeria is
$310.

This information is not dated, but it appears that the page was last
updated on May 25, 2003 (today).
The same website also gives the figure for the gross National Product
in US dollar for Nigeria as being $43,286,000,000

I hope this was the type of research you were looking for. If you need
any clarifications, please let me know and I will do my best to
further assist you.
