Hi jeninems,

I have found a series of on-line tutorials on cat and dog nutrition.
One of them is specifically about the digestive system, comparing and
contrasting cats and dogs, while other modules look at nutrients and
nutrition, pet foods, management of digestive and other diseases. Is
this the sort of thing you are seeking?

I am giving a presentation on how dogs eliminate waste and am looking
for information on how food moves through the gastrointestinal tract
and is broken down and what the result, i.e., stool consistency,
volume, etc., would be. The presentation is to a group of dog
handlerswho are fairly knowledgable about dietary matters but not
necessarily about gastrointestinal details.
