Hello mikeeey-ga, Here is the order to paint "'Heligoland August 28th. 1914'" in gold letters on all ships (including the HMS Arethusa) that served in that battle, as well as to fix a "brass plate", engraved with specific text, on the Arethusa: "'Gallant Arethusa'" The World War I Document Archive http://www.gwpda.org/naval/arethusa.htm I hope that this information is helpful. - justaskscott-ga Searched on Ixquick ( http://www.ixquick.com ) for: arethusa "august 28th" | |
