Question ID: 209393
I am reseraching on job sites .More specifically , I want to find
information such as:

- what well known sites are making money and why they are making
money
- are most job sites losing money ?
- why recruiters and not employers post jobs on IT job sites ( even at
top sites like Monster under the IT job section )
- can " free " job sites survive ie fees are not collected from
candidates or employers but revenue is made through other means eg
resume development services etc
- are there sites or magazines that have regular news and analysis of
job sites , their strategies etc
-how important content is to job sites
- surveys on candidates and employers on their experience with job
sites

My interest is more on technology related job sites , though I will be
pleased to get information on any type of job site in general.

I merely need pointers to articles etc

Hi

You have 7 or so questions at a $35 price point. That would mean
probably 1 or 2 articles per question, and perhaps no articles for
some of them. Is this sufficient?

Thanks,

Yes , its ok . Basically all the 7 questions boil down to " what it
entails to succeed as a job portal and what are the present business
models that work " . If I get some good articles to tha above poser ,I
will be satisfied.

Regards
